The Remos GX is an ultramodern 2 place microlight with strutted high wing design and manufactured completely from carbon composite materials. Compared to its predecessor, the Remos G3/600, the wing has been redesigned to reduce drag. Her powerplant is the ubiquitous 100 HP Rotax 912S, a flat four 85 ci engine with propeller speed reduction gearbox, driving a 3 blade fixed pitch airscrew. Built in northern Germany her safe flight characteristics makes her an ideal training and touring aircraft. Due to the very low operating cost, relatively high cruising speed and enormous range she's an ideal tourer if only 2 seats are required.
Our GX with, call sign D-MZGZ, is equipped with state of the art and user friendly avionics – Dynon D100 glass cockpit. Even for pilots used to traditional gauges the transition is quite easy. As all german microlights the GX has a very low noise profile, max. 60 dB(A). For comparison: Modern cars noise level is approximately 74 dB(A), whereas 3 dB(A) less means actually half the noise level. She is certified for visual flights during daytime (VFR).
Within LSV Günzburg the GX mainly used for pilot training and private touring.
