Description Grob G115

The Grob G115B is a modern 2 place aircraft with low wing design and constructed totally from glass reinforced composite. Her powerplant is a fuel injected Lycoming IO-320, flat four engine with 320 ci, developing 160 HP and driving an all metall fixed pitch airscrew. Built in Germany just a couple of miles south of our airfield she was designed to serve as aircraft for pilot selection, entry and advanced level training as well as aerobatics training. Her excellent handling qualities and low operational cost make her the ideal choice for club pilot training and hour building.

Our G115, with call signs D-EBFT, D-ELWF and D-ENZM, are equipped with a full panel of conventional instrumentation (including ADF and VOR radios), with which all pilots are already familiar. They are certified for visual flights day and night (VFR, NVFR and CVFR).

Within LSV Günzburg the aircrafts are mainly used for pilot training and private touring as long as 2 places are sufficient.
